In my previous role as a medical assistant, I bore witness to a sobering reality: patients turned away because they spoke another language, lacking access to a translator. This injustice fueled my resolve to advocate for inclusivity and equity. Along this journey, small triumphs, like validation from a fellow ambassador in our community health project, are witness to the promise of progress firsthand. This path, from witnessing exclusion to advocating for change, underscores the importance of resilience and the potential for a more inclusive tomorrow.
